I liked it. It was a cute, sweet novella. It is fast paced and skips to the good parts of their relationship so you don't get full dragged out version. It is a quick read, steamy sexual scenes and a HEA. We are told hero made bad assumption six months before they meet again, but we are told again, after they dated two weeks , that they are back in good graces. It is a safe read. No OW or OM. Heroine has seof esteem issues but being with hot supportive hero helps her build confidence in herself. Ending was good. Got book for free, as offered for limited time. Thanks enjoyed it.
Curves By Design is safe, sweet and sexy read. It's pretty short however hits the spot if you're in need of something fast paced, short, and sweet. This story is about curvaceous, full figured Molly. She has low self esteem and doesn't believe she can snag a good man. Devon is the big brother to her best friend and is crazy for Molly. Through Devon's attentions, affections and possessiveness, Molly learns to be kinder to herself. She even begins to like what she sees in the mirror. Y'all, this was so good, so sweet and incredibly reaffirming. Every woman that's ever felt like she wasn't good enough physically needs to read this book. I loved it. The only thing I hated was that it was so short!! I definitely want more of Devon and Molly.
Boy meets girl hits it off then boy makes a huge mistake thinking that the girl is his brother's girl then boy blows the girl of his dream off 6 months later boys brother is having an engagement party but boy Hasn't found out about the girl not being bro's girl so he gets drunk it's too hard for him to see the girl of his dreams marry his brother. Girl having low self-esteem because her mom keep drilling in her head that she's less than because she's "over weight" being a full figure girl is BAD, SAD, AND NOT WORTHY OF BEING LOVED!!! Boy finds out what an ass he was 6 month ago that he made two important mistakes 1st girl not his bro's girl and 2nd he blew her off. The next day boy's bro tells him that girl's mom has made her feel less than now boy must prove to her that she's all that and then some. Two weeks of courtship she finally believes that he really does want Her, so they have you guess correctly SEX. Girl moves in with boy . Girl has a heart to heart chat with mom Don't call me unless you want to talk about anything other than my weight I love my body and so does my man. Mom still has a hard time believing anyone who is not skinny can be happy being a full figure girl. Now what I am not sure I like about the story is finding self worth in what a man thinks about your body. And I did n't like the cost of this story would have given higher rating if price was cheaper.Don't get me started about a "book" with 20 pgs at $299. Thanks for reading my review.
What is a plus size girl to do when you have a mother who does nothing but hassle you about the size of your body all of your life. Poor Molly Whitney picks up the phone to yet another call from her mom telling her if she would only have lost some weight it would be her getting engaged that night to Dylan Richards instead of some other girl. Well, Dylan is her best friend and she fixed him up with Lauren hoping they would hit it off and of course they did. Besides she has a thing for Dylan's brother Devon who she thought might have a thing for her but if only for a little while.
Devon thinks his brother is getting engaged to Molly and he can barely stand going to the dinner that is planned. He has been in lust with her for so long and he acted on it one night at his parents house at a dinner party. Then he realized Molly was Dylan's dinner date and he left. He treated her badly afterwards thinking he was poaching his brother's girlfriend. Not realizing they were only best friends.
This is Devon and Molly's love story and also we learn how Devon teaches Molly to stand up for herself. I really like this book! Lots of really good advise in this book for us plus or curvie girls.
I absolutely loved this short story...Molly was continuously told by her mom she needed to lose weight and that she would never find a man because she wasn't attractive. One can only be told things like this so many times before you start believing it.
Devon and Molly met through Devon's brother, and it was love at first sight. Devon caught Molly on the patio during a party and gave into his lust and kissed Molly only to have his brother call for Molly and the kiss got interrupted. Devon avoided Molly the rest of the night because he felt guilty for having feelings for his brothers date. Molly was hurt by Devon avoiding her thinking it was because her weight repulsed him.
Seeing what these two went through to overcome Molly's insecurities was kind of sad...no one should feel the way Molly felt about herself. I can honestly say I hated her mother's character...she is so heartless with the way she treats Molly and I was so happy to see Molly stick up for not only herself, but her relationship with Devon to her mom and finally put her foot down.
